Tyze is proud to announce Caregivers Nova Scotia, in partnership with Community Links, as the first recipient of funding from The Belonging Fund. Caregivers Nova Scotia is a non-profit organization championing the vision that caregivers must be recognized, valued, and supported as essential partners in care. Their partner in this initiative, Community Links, is a provincial organization that promotes age friendly communities and quality of life for Nova Scotia seniors. The team at Caregivers Nova Scotia has already begun training, and is working with Tyze staff to start creating new networks for the caregivers they support.
Sharon Reashore, Executive Director of Caregivers Nova Scotia, says “we are excited to explore the use of Tyze networks to enable family caregivers to strengthen their circles of support and allow friends and family to become more connected to the caregiving situation.” “Everyone at Caregivers Nova Scotia and Community Links is extremely grateful to have the opportunity to use Tyze through the Belonging Fund,” says Sharon.
If you are a Canadian charitable organization you can take advantage of the Belonging fund too. Click here to apply for the funding to launch Tyze networks for your organization.
