Once you’ve launched your network you will be ready to invite people to join. Steps often include:
• Use Tyze to extend invitations to each of the prospective network members that have been identified. Make sure the invitation includes your name and contact information as well as the purpose of the network.
• Use the administrative section of Tyze to see who has accepted their invitation, and whether or not there are others who haven’t accepted yet. Each time a new member joins the network take a few minutes to send them a welcome message and introduce them to the other network members.
• If a week passes and there are still some people who haven’t accepted the invitation to join, you can re-send the invitation or perhaps follow up with a personal phone call. Make sure that they received their invitations and understand the purpose of the network you’ve created. If some choose not to join, simply thank them for their time and extend an invitation to join at another time if they choose. If they would like to join the network help them to find the original invitation or re-send and ensure they can accept. Tip: Ensure you sent the invitation to the correct e-mail address.
