Give someone a network and they'll no longer be isolated, teach someone to create networks for others and they'll help to end isolation.

The interest in Tyze from organizations around the world continues to bring us to new audiences. In May Vickie Cammack traveled to Portugal to present the Tyze model at the Services To the Citizen conference for the Association of Portuguese Telecom Providers.

Organizations in Portugal, as in much of Europe, are looking for new ways to provide care for their aging and increasingly isolated populations. One of the organizations leading the search for innovative solutions is Cisco. Cisco's leadership in delivering care to an aging population led them to work with the Association of Portuguese Telecom Providers, an organization that intends to be the catalyzing, strategic and stimulating element of knowledge and collaboration not only in the media sector but also in the Economy and Civil Society.

This shared commitment to the provision of care, led to Vickie's invitation to deliver a presentation at the Services to the Citizen Conference last month. Her keynote address and panel presentations provided food for thought for a dynamic, innovative audience interested in the development of global collaboration networks.
