Manuel is a senior technology executive with 20 years experience working in the software industry. He has held executive level roles with a number of technology companies, including most recently serving as the CTO for Vision Critical, a world-renowned, global provider of best-of-breed marketing research tools. At Vision Critical Manuel led the company's technology and technical team through a period of high growth and maturing of the platform.

As our Senior Technology Advisor at Tyze, Manuel is helping to shape the technology vision for the company. His deep experience in SaaS models, as well as licensing and customizing technology are a strong asset for the team. Manuel holds an M.Sc. in Software Engineering as well as a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University (SFU). While at SFU Manuel was honoured with the Dean of Graduate Studies Medal.

When not at Tyze, Manuel is building an innovative technology start-up with the bold global objective of changing driving behavior. His company is providing a next-generation infrastructure for ride sharing.
